Ferlito, Ferros do Litoral, S.A. was founded in 1989 and is currently 100% owned by the OSCACER GROUP.

It is mainly active in the marketing of long steel products (chamfering, commercial and/or structural profiles and tubes), but also flat (hot-rolled and/or cold-rolled, galvanized, pickled, among others) Positioning itself in the civil construction market.

To increase its supply on the steel market, it adopts a sustained development model, focusing on price, product efficiency and quality. Constantly looking for ever more advanced and innovative technological solutions.

We believe that quality service is associated with a strategic geographical position, able to satisfy the needs of clients and partners at all levels. Ferlito, in addition to its headquarters in Ovar, also has a warehouse in Arada and another one in Palmela.

THE OSCACER GROUP

Ferlito’s entry into the OSCACER GROUP in 1989 strengthened its position on the steel market.

In 2016, with the total acquisition of STEELGREEN, the fruit of the partnership between Ferlito, Ferros do Litoral, S.A.and Domingos da Silva Teixeira, the OSCACER GROUP became a national reference in steel products, increasing the capital gains available on the iron market.

    Update of name OSCACER - César Rola, Lda.

    On January 18, 1965, the company was renamed Oscar & César Rola, limited - OSCACER. In 1977, the name of OSCACER - César Rola, LDA. Originally "António Rola, Filhos" transformed in 1965 into a limited company "Óscar & César Rola, limitada - Oscacer" and later changed the firm to "OSCACER-César Rola, Lda in 1977.

    In 1989, OSCACER - César Rola, Lda establishes a partnership with the Spanish commercial company of laminates, leader in the sector of long products of the Iberian Peninsula, from which Ferlito is born.

    In 2003, Oscacer - César Rola, LDA, strengthens its position in the market by acquiring Ferlito Ferros Litoral in its entirety, becoming a national reference in steel products.

    Steelgreen, S.A.

    As a result of the partnership between Ferlito and Domingos da Silva Teixeira, Steelgreen S.A., Steel Services Center in Vila Verde - Braga, is constituted, focusing on the manufacture of cast rod.

    In 2016, Steelgreen S.A. became fully owned by the OSCACER Group, expanding the added value offered in the market for rebar.

    Acquisition of Codimetal - Industries, S.A.

    The entry of Codimetal into the OSCACER Group further fills a space in an increasingly strong and comprehensive group in the field of steel products.
